Gregory Colandrea '90
North Texas Chapter Trustee

Greg Colandrea is a proud member of the Naval Academy Class of 1990. He served aboard USS ARKANSAS (CGN-41) as a nuclear engineering and Surface Warfare Officer. He followed his sea time with a tour on staff at the Naval Academy. He transitioned from active duty in 1997.

Greg is a lifetime member of the Naval Academy Alumni Association. In October 2015 he was elected President of the North Texas Chapter of the Alumni Association, after serving for six years as the Treasurer and Webmaster. At the North Texas Chapter he led the implementation of an integrated chapter management website platform that has helped double the chapter membership over the last five years, and create exceptional levels of alumni engagement.

The North Texas Chapter produces the annual Blue Chip Dinner, the largest candidate-focused event of all alumni chapters worldwide.

Since active duty, he has held technology leadership positions in both tech and non-tech companies. He is the CIO of YPO (formerly Young Presidents Organization), leading its digital transformation. YPO is a global community that helps over 25,000 chief executives in 130 countries to engage, learn and grow.
Greg is a native of Chicago, IL. He earned an MBA at The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. He serves on the board of TechTitans, the North Texas technology trade association.

He lives in McKinney, Texas with his wife Amy, and children Isabella and George.
