USNA CLASSES SUPPORT Naval Academy PROJECTS
U.S. Naval Academy class leaders from the classes of 1973, 1983, and 1993 presented checks from their fundraising endeavors to the U.S. Naval Academy and Superintendent RADM Fred Kacher ’90, USN
Classes reunite every decade (10th to 50th) for a fundraising campaign supporting the Academy. Funds aid the Superintendent’s priorities in Moral, Mental, and Physical aspects. In the final project year, class leaders present a symbolic "BIG CHECK" representing total donations since the last reunion. For 50th reunions, the LIFETIME LEGACY GIVING TOTAL is often used.
While the 50th marks the last official effort, many classes continue supporting projects beyond it.
