Angela Domingos ’00

Shared Interest Group Trustee

Angela Domingos holds the position of Partner Vetting Secretariat and Official. She is also a member of the Operational Climate Change and Sustainability Team at the US Agency for International Development (USAID). Ms. Domingos is a project manager with over 24 years of leadership experience. She brings a wealth of knowledge in project, contract, and budget management, organizational development, training, and international and partner engagement. She has delivered on multiple projects and managed programs that have resulted in increased productivity and efficiency.

Before coming to USAID, Ms.Domingos served in the U.S. Navy as a Naval Flight Officer and a skilled strategist for 20 years. During her tenure in the Navy, she deployed to the Middle East, developed cutting-edge operating procedures, formulated policy, and managed government contracts worth a combined $16 million, as well as serving as a Foreign Liaison Officer for nineteen countries and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization.

She holds an Executive Master of Business Administration (EMBA) from the Naval Postgraduate School with a focus on the Department of Defense. She was assigned a Financial Management - Defense Focus sub-specialty code by the Naval Personnel Command upon completion of her EMBA. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from the U.S. Naval Academy. She is a certified Project Management Professional and is Lean Six Sigma White Belt certified.

During her off time, she dedicates herself to serving her community as the Membership Co-Chair for the United States Naval Academy Minority Association (NAMA), where she actively contributes to fostering diversity and inclusion. Additionally, she holds the position of Correspondence Secretary for the West Springfield High School Football Board, where her dedication to bolstering local athletics and nurturing young student-athletes truly stands out.
