Christopher Perrien '74
NC Triangle Chapter Trustee
Christopher Perrien grew up in New Orleans, LA and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1974 with a major in Literature. Chris served as ASWO officer on two destroyers in the Pacific. After naval service, he was employed for 4 years in the program office at Bath Iron Works on CG-51 and DDG-51 contracts.
In 1985, Chris moved to Durham, North Carolina where he began his career with IBM as a Technical Business Development Executive with a concentration in the Financial Industry. He is currently the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of AnchorRTP, a service assisting Academy grads in transition to the RTP.
A lifetime member of the USNA Alumni Association and Secretary of the North Carolina Triangle Chapter, he also serves as Director of the SSN 777 Club, a non-profit which supports the command and crew of the USS North Carolina, SSN 777, based in Pearl Harbor, HI.
Chris is married to the former Tessa Smith of Mount Airy, North Carolina with sons, Alexander and Owen.
