Dear Alumni and Friends:

Happy Holidays! We at the Alumni Association and Foundation want to thank you for all you have done for the Naval Academy and our alumni community. Your generosity and support have helped us build and strengthen our Academy and the Long Blue Line of alumni and friends across the nation and overseas.

This holiday season we think of our Navy and Marine Corps servicemen and women who protect our freedoms and deploy to the frontlines to keep us safe at home. We are also thankful for the young men and women who form the current Brigade of Midshipmen. They will graduate well prepared to lead our armed forces in a complex global environment.

Our Alumni Association and Foundation leadership and staff are grateful for your continued support and involvement with the Academy and the Brigade of Midshipmen. Your passionate enthusiasm for the Academy and its mission are vital.

As we close 2015 we can all be proud of the alumni, parents and friends who support the Naval Academy and what we have done to help propel our outstanding academic and leadership institution into the top rankings in the country. The Academy is ranked 9th in the nation among liberal arts colleges by U.S. News and World Report, and #1 among public liberal arts institutions. We are ranked 21st (10-2) in the country in College Football Playoff rankings, and just completed a victory—the 14th in a row—over Army in the annual Army-Navy football game classic. We also have a Navy quarterback in MIDN Keenan Reynolds ’16 who was 5th among Heisman Trophy candidate voting and is a 2015 third team AP All-American football player. Finally, construction has commenced on the parking facility making way for the new state of the art Cyber Center building on the Yard. Indeed we have much to be thankful for in 2015!

Best wishes for a happy and healthy holiday season and new year.

Go Navy!
