Q: What drew you to attending the Naval Academy?
The desire to serve and great sports programs.

Q: How did you first become interested in water polo?
From a young age, I was always around the pool. I started playing when I was 12 years old after I saw a local team practicing.

Q: What is something about it that most people don’t know?
You cannot touch the bottom or side of the pool the entire game.

Q: What is the best part about your hometown?
The local food is amazing, and that’s where my dog Sasha is.

Q: Name three artists on your music play list:
Kendrick Lamar, Chance the Rapper and Credence Clearwater Revival.

Q: If you could play another sport, what would it be and why?
Rugby. I love the physicality of the sport.

Q: What is your favorite place you have visited in your life, and why is it your favorite?
Ireland—I took a summer trip a few weeks before I-Day with some friends. I will always remember the beautiful landscape.

Q: What are the best moments of your time here at the Academy?
My first Army/Navy football game and NOLS.

Knowing what you do now, what would you tell yourself on Induction Day?
Take advantage of every leadership opportunity that is offered to you and don’t be afraid to ask for help.

What would you like to be doing in ten years?
Living in DC and working in private equity.
