Ian M. Cameron ’12

’10s/’20s Classes

Ian Cameron graduated with the Naval Academy Class of 2012. At the Naval Academy, Ian served as Class President and was a member of the Sprint Football team, the Men’s Glee Club and the 25th Company Bearsharks.

After graduation, Ian studied Middle Eastern history and culture at the University of Oxford as a Marshall Scholar. Ian served eight years as a Marine infantry and reconnaissance officer with operational deployments to the South Pacific and Afghanistan.

Ian is an operations and go-to-market leader for technology startups and currently serves as the Vice President of Operations for Treeswift which uses drones and machine learning to monitor forests for timber and carbon development.
