Common Area Computers- Each company has a common-use computer room with about 10 computers. These computers are available in case a student's computer is broken, or they just feel like using a different one. The computer rooms are also used, in addition to the EI (Extra-Instruction) rooms, as study rooms. This is mostly because men and women are not, under any circumstances, allowed in the same dorm room. Since the CDO's don't like M/C's studying the p-ways, any studying involving mixed genders has to be done in the computer rooms.

If students want to send pictures via e-mail, they must use the company's computer room as well. There is one computer in each room that has an external reader for all common digital media (smart media, compact flash, memory stick, etc.) Students can then download pictures onto that computer and save them to their "P:" drive. This is a drive that every student has on their computer. They can save up to 100 mb of information onto it and it will be there no matter what computer you log on to. So, they save the information to the P drive, go back to their room, pull up the pictures and then they can email them.
