Navy Federal Credit Union - Almost all students get accounts at the credit union. Their pay checks get deposited automatically. An ATM machine in the bank lobby provides access to cash at all times. NAPS recommends that students all get an account there with direct deposit, but neither the account nor direct deposit are mandatory. NFCU does offer good services though, they're friendly, and very convenient, so most students choose to open accounts there. Actually, it is one of the first things many students do during indoc (if they choose). By the time Indoc is over, their account, along with telephone and internet banking will be set up for them and they will have their check card or credit card.
