Guestbook Policy
Ours is a moderated guestbook.
Your messages are post immediately.
NAPSters are welcome to introduce themselves
too. They just can't participate after Indoc.
The purpose of the guestbook
is to help NAPS Parents create
their own sense of community. Read the entries
and post a response in the guestbook. Create
your own personal network of parents by responding
privately to those who post messages. It is
a lifesaver throughout the year! If you have
really personal issues, discuss them privately
or post notes without the names of your student
or his/her friends. Making it generic protects
their privacy. But feel free to ask a question
that is personal, just remember to couch it
in general terms.....such as "A NAPSter
is having a problem with.... What kind of responses
would be helpful to him/her". Or another
possible: "A student would like to plan
a trip to" or ..... "Has anyone had
any experience with....". You can always
email the one of the Moderators privately. Remember,
our guestbook is a public space. It can be read
by anyone in the world. It is in fact regularly
read by the NAPS command. Post accordingly!
To avoid problems, all guestbook messages
are reviewed daily after they are posted by
the Moderators. It is a general rule
that any and all unacceptable messages will
be deleted without acknowledgement. Post questions,
share funny stories, make friends, offer words
of encouragement, and crow about successes.
We want to hear from you!
NAPSters are not permitted to post notes in
the guestbook once they begin the student year.
Parents love to hear from NAPSters, but the
guestbook is for parents and not NAPS students.
